Waiting for DISTCACHE lock... for 10 minutes

Hi,
About a week back my i386 tinderbox machine (SMP+PAE) crashed rather
badly.
After getting it up again I also made and installed new word and kernel.
Since then, it seems, for each port build, I'm seeing in
/usr/local/tinderbox/builds/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/make.0
a lot of:
INFO: Waiting for DISTCACHE lock...
for 10 minutes, after which it builds the port.
I'm using nullfs:
/usr/ports/distfiles on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/distcache (nullfs, local)
/usr/local/tinderbox/portstrees/myPT/ports on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/a/ports (nullfs,local)
/usr/local/tinderbox/jails/4 on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/usr/src (nullfs, local)
devfs on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/dev (devfs, local)
linprocfs on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/compat/linux/proc (linprocfs, local)
procfs on /usr/local/tinderbox/4-STABLE-i386-myPT/proc (procfs, local)
The ports are build via a script that invokes tindy as:
./tc addPort -b ${_build} -r -d ${PORT}
./tinderbuild -noduds -onceonly -nullfs -b ${_build} ${PORT}
Where should I start digging to fix this ? Why 10 minutes ? Could it be
some leftover from the crash or rather some of the changes in the OS
(the were a few commits related to *fs since the old kernel and the
current one).
Thanks,
