Of distributed tinderboxing

Hi folks,

It's been some time since I posted here, and I received a few
personal emails about the work I'd planned for extending the
tinderbox environment to fully distributed clustering.

I'm afraid that for a variety of reasons (personal loss, extreme
$realjob pressures, the list goes on) I have finally come to the
realization that what I had planned is simply not going to be
feasible in the very limited time I have available for this project.
I make no excuses, I bit off more than I could chew, and I failed to
deliver. For that, I am truly sorry.

That said, there are definitely some code cleanups etc that are
present in HEAD which should make its way make to the 2.x branch, and
I will offer what assistance I can in merging that code. Once (or
even if) that is done, I humbly suggest that the HEAD branch as it
stands is nuked, and a new HEAD is taken from Tinderbox 2.4 (or
whatever the version number is).

Once again, my apologies.
