webui error

[Beech Rintoul]

I updated to the latest -CURRENT tonight now i'm getting the following error 
trying to go to the webui:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function preg_match() in 
/usr/local/share/pear/DB.php on line 766

I tried rebuilding everything php including extensions and same error.

I'm not sure where to go next.
