Outgoing mail doesn't work at 3.x

OK, installed.
Now I receive the mail, thanks!
One question though. The first step imho was not necessary with
tinderbox-2.x. Is it a new way? Or may be if net/p5-Net was
installed along with tinderbox this step happened automagically?
