This one looks like it was an NFS live lock. I got the
port.log depends distfiles packages listing in build/tmp
but nothing actually built.
Actually I had figured it was a mounting problem already, but had not
thought of the NFS live lock. Thanks for that, I couldn't figure out
how it would be failing to remount in the jail. ;-) The live lock
explains it perfectly.
