Feature Request: -O needs more work

Sorry for the late reply. Your patch fixes it for me, thank you.
I couldn't imagine that there is such an easy solution for this issue :)

I should mention that OPTIONS processing still stops, but *only*
when there is already an OPTIONS file for the port that's being 
added. But in my opinion this should be expected when using -O.
