My idea was to use a different variable (like "all_builds_sorted"
besides "all_builds_raw") to hold the sorted results and use it only
for drop-down lists in the templates.  The name "all_builds_raw"
suggests that "all builds listed in their natural order" which you
have referred to.  I like your simplifications, so all the other parts
are fine to me.
